I was 12 years old when I shot my first roll of film. My Grandparents lived in Brooklyn and gave me a Leica Camera for my birthday. My dad was in the Air Force and we lived all over. More importantly, I had free access to a photo lab. I only had to pay for paper and film.

So New York was my learning ground, traveled to other areas of the world, got inspiration from great museums, and a free lab. Shot in most of my four high schools and joined the army as a camera repairman. They gave me a tank instead. Life got in the way for many years but about 15 years ago, when digital came out I got to thinking about doing what I had always wanted.  Shoot great images of people.

Hey, I admire wildlife shooters, and environment and architecture lovers; but for me it has always been about people. The smile of a 1 year old when they take their first step is more beautiful than any mountain or eagle- at least to me.
So I shot anyone who would let me, started studying, joined associations, shot some more, attended conventions and seminars, took some classes and shot some more. Within a couple of years, I was getting paid now and then so I opened my first studio in Palm Bay, a couple of years later on A1A in Indialantic and then 3 years ago I found this neat place in Cocoa Beach.

So I get to shoot a lot of people now. Weddings, families and children are a major part of my business, but I do love the occasional fashion session or high school senior. Mostly though, I am mostly shooting people on the happiest day of their lives. All that love in the air and I get to share in a small part of it.

My son Blake has been along with me for most of this ride. He has shot hundreds of weddings and other sessions with me and has a artistic touch to what he does. He also designs my albums and creates our fantastic video slide shows. We live with my two grand daughters, 8 and 2 at our studio in Cocoa Beach.
